I don’t remember a lot from the video, but one line that has stuck with me over the years is ‘The days you remember are the days you live‘.

This sentence is so simple, yet so profound. Since then, I have tried that each month at least 1 activity that I’ll remember in that year. Here’s the highlight from the 2021 in review and some moments that stuck over the year.
Jan 2021
- Went to 17 miles drive for the first time with wife.
Feb 2021
- Moved to a new apartment in SF that we love.
- Wife took on Yoga, I gave up on Guitar.
- Been to SF Civic Center for the first time.
Mar 2021
- Been to Yosemite for the first time. It’s more beatiful than we anticipated it to be.
- Been to the SF Zoo for the first time.
- Did the Free Tour By Foot tour and explored the less touristy places of SF.
Apr 2021
- Adopted Audrey.
- Been to the Golden Gate Park for the first time.
- Been to Battery Spencer for the first time.
- Been to Point Reyes for the first time.
Jun 2021
- Been to Muir Wood for the first time.
- Passed HITRUST CCSFP.
Jul 2021
- Been to Vegas for the first time.
- First time Skydiving.
- Been to Lake Tahoe for the first time with wife and Audrey.
Aug 2021
- Finally bought the QC 32 II and lost in a week.
Sep 2021
- Been to SF Symphony for the first time.
Oct 2021
- Been to the gym for 30 days without a day off.
- Presented at (ISC)2 Congress.
Nov 2021
- Hosted Diwali party in the US for the first time.
Dec 2021
- Did Ice Skating for the first time; it’s actually much harder than it looks.
- Had a great Christmas party.
That’s all I had from 2021. I hope to add a lot more in 2022.
